Civilian Ordnance is a locally owned firearms sales / service and safety training business serving Western New York. They focus on responsible ownership, safety, and personal service, helping customers find the right tools for training, protection, and sport.
They came to KM Studio & Ledger looking for a website that felt professional and trustworthy, without feeling cold or corporate. The goal was to create a space where customers could quickly understand what they offer, feel confident in their expertise, and know exactly how to get in touch.
Together, we blended clear information, simple navigation, and strong safety messaging so the site reflects both their values and the needs of their community.
Project Workflow
We built the site, optimized it for mobile, and tested key flows like browsing products and contacting the shop. After final approvals, we launched and supported the team with basic site training.

We met with the Civilian Ordnance team to understand their customers, services, and compliance needs. We mapped out what information had to be front and center and what could live deeper in the site.
